Which state boards are supported?
All 50 states and the District of Columbia, with deep state-specific rule engines for the LCSW, LMFT, and LPCC/LPC/LMHC pathways. The engine encodes supervision ratios, category minimums and caps, timeline constraints, and acceptable supervisor credentials for each jurisdiction.
Can I export to my state’s official forms?
Yes. ClearPath generates the exact PDFs your licensing board requires, starting with California (BBS), Texas, New York, Florida, and Illinois, with more state forms rolling out as each board’s form templates are verified. Every export is board-formatted and ready for submission without re-typing.
How does supervision tracking work?
You log each supervision session, whether individual, group, or triadic, and assign it to the supervisor who signed off. ClearPath calculates your running supervision-to-direct-hour ratio against your state’s specific rule and alerts you before you drift out of compliance.
Do you support group supervision hours?
Yes. Individual, group, and triadic supervision are logged separately, and ClearPath automatically applies your state’s caps on how many group hours can count toward your total supervision requirement.
What happens when my state changes its rules?
State licensing rules change more often than most clinicians realize. We run quarterly manual reviews of every board website and supplement them with automated regulation monitoring. When a rule that affects you changes, your dashboard updates and we send you a plain-English summary, so you find out from us, not from a rejected application.
Can I switch from Track Your Hours or a spreadsheet?
Yes. ClearPath imports CSV exports from Track Your Hours, Time2Track, SparkHours, and Google Sheets or Excel. The import wizard maps your existing categories to your state’s taxonomy and flags any hours that may need re-categorization before they count.
Is my data secure?
ClearPath runs on encrypted infrastructure with TLS in transit, encryption at rest, and row-level security, so your records are never visible to other users. We do not claim formal HIPAA certification, and we recommend against logging identifiable client information into any hour tracker. If your employer requires a Business Associate Agreement, contact us before signing up.
What does the AI review check?
After the deterministic state-rule audit runs, an optional AI review reads your flagged weeks and explains likely causes and fixes in plain English. It never changes your records, and the rules-based audit stays the source of truth.
